A room in our clinic

The department has 30 bed spaces and intensive care unit. The cosy rooms are double-bed, air-conditioned, with TV set and a bathroom. The clinic has VIP rooms that provide a comfortable stay. The department has contract with the National Health Insurance Fund and services military contingent (soldiers, officers, Ministry of Defence employees) and civilians from across the country under the following clinical pathways:

  • Severe forms of psoriasis.
  • Acute bacterial infections of the skin: erysipelas, pyoderma, cellulitis, inflammation of other dermatoses.
  • Treatment of severe forms of bullous dermatoses- pemphigus vulgaris, Bullous pemphigoid, acquired bullous epidermolysis, dermatitis herpetiformis.
  • Toxoallergic reactions- toxic epidermal necrolysis, anaphylactic shock, food and drug allergy, dermatitis of drug or chemical origin.
  • Erythroderma originating from: mycosis fungoides, atopic dermatitis, eczema, neurodermitis, seborrheic dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis from drugs, dyes and other chemical substances, plants, irritative contact dermatitis, pityriasis rubra pilaris, ichthyosis vulgaris.
  • Treatment of connective tissue diseases’ skin manifestations and vasculitis: lupus erythematodes-subacute cutaneous lupus, lupus panniculitis, lupus erythematodes profundus; febrile neutrophilic dermatosis, eosinophilic cellulites, dermatomyositis.

The National Health Insurance Fund has the right to alter the clinical pathways with each renewal of the contract.

The Department of Dermatology is equipped with modern facilities for the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases. The medical specialists have experience in implementation of the latest medications in the management of chronic and severe dermatoses. Modern treatment methods applied in the department: balneophototherapy, laser therapy and dermatosurgery relieve the patient and improve the quality of life. The medical staff of the department consists of highly qualified specialists in dermatology of long standing experience. Complicated diagnostic and therapeutical cases are solved via interdisciplinary discussions. The Department of dermatology maintains serious contacts with leading European dermatology clinics and offers online consultations.
